No Books, No Problem: Teaching Without a Text
I agree with a comment that was made on this article by a teacher saying that students can get any information that they need by using the internet. I think that most students are MUCH more likely to use Google than to leaf through a book looking for information. For that reason, I agree that textbooks are no longer needed as much as they were in the past.

How are you going to make sure students understand the reliability and validity if information on the Internet? I think there is some great info on the Internet but a lot of mis information too. at least textbooks have been vetted!
